Wedding Day

After 23 years as partners, Jude and I were married on Saturday afternoon, August 24, at the Metropolitan Community Church in Los Feliz. The Reverend Neil Thomas performed the ceremony, and we had our friends Carol Bennett and Michael James as witnesses.
The minister's words were deeply resonant with me. I felt my union with Jude through the ceremony, and I am so blessed that we have these years together. It's also thrilling that we have legal recognition for our union now. I feel integrated into society in a way now that I didn't even know I was missing before.
